What is austin somerset?

Austin Somerset was a compact car produced by Austin Motors, a subsidiary of the British Motor Corporation, from 1952 to 1954. It replaced the earlier Austin A40 Devon and was the first new car model to be launched by Austin after World War II. The Somerset was powered by a 1.2-liter four-cylinder engine with overhead valves producing 42 horsepower. The car's design featured a modern, streamlined body with a sloping front grille and curved rear fenders. It was available in two and four-door saloon versions, as well as a two-door convertible. The Somerset's production ended in 1954, when it was replaced by the Austin Cambridge.
